The Book Barn is located in a building that housed the very first funeral parlor in Kansas in 1856. They can proudly say their customers have been "dying" to get into the store ever since. They are a general book store specializing in high quality children's books, regional & gift books, and special ordering. They order every Tuesday and usually have the books in by Thursday or Friday. 

Gulliver's Books, a medium sized Indie bookstore with a full service coffee shop, established 24 years ago at Hays, Kansas.
