Charis: books & more Claims to be the oldest feminist bookstore in the Southeast. They offer a wide selection of books on women, feminism, lesbian, gay, bisexual and TV issues, women's spirituality, and anti-racist/sexist books jewelry, journals, cards, music by women and much more. Through the Charis Circle, they offer weekly community programs on Thursday nights, as well as a monthly women-only open-mike night.
